Currently, the private detective profession is regulated by Law 23/1992 of July 30 private security and its subsequent regulatory development. The Act describes the functions as a private detective to obtain and provide information and evidence of conduct or private events, considering that all these affect the economy, employment, commercial, financial and life in general to personal, family or social.
